It's shaping up to be another historical, life changing and awesome week in the SRY so hang on to something and be prepared to be...amazed!! (that might be abit over the top but I thought I'd try to be dramatic this week)

On Wednesday night in the SRY we're having our first ever "Old Country Fair" night. Remember when your parents or grandparents would take you to the country fair to play all sorts of fun and crazy games with everyone else in the town? Of course you don't!! That's why we're having a country fair night so you can do all the great stuff you've never done before. Fishing in the fish pond, duck hunting, cake walking, talent show, kissing booth, apple bobbing and lots of other old time events. The whole fair will only cost you $2/person and that includes one trip to the general store. Basically it's gonna be alot of fun, and you guys need some simple fun in your lives. (you can even dress-up "country" if you like. Same time (7-9), same place (SR Cafe).

On Friday night the Solid Rock Cafe opens it's doors for the third Cafe of the fall season. Live music, trivia, wholesome snacks, and tons of teenagers hanging around. Doors open from 6 to midnight, and the cost for the entire evening is $2 (you can't even see 20 minutes of a movie for that!)

Many thanks to the Jr. High crew who went over to Challenge this past weekend. We'll have some pictures on the website soon. All the worship, the lack of sleep, the soft floors, the rock competition and Luke Slysz "supermodel", just to highlight a few.
