It's a great week of Solid Rock stuff! From Wednesday night's SRY to our "LOST" Lock-In on Friday.
On Wednesday our theme is "Defining Moments". It's all about what events in life make us who we are and how we learn from these amazing things. It's really going to be a night with some awesome suprises that I promise will be well worth the 120 minutes it will take. (you still have about 10,000 other minutes you can use)
On Friday we're having our "LOST" Lock-In from 8pm-8am (that's 12 full hours of Solid Rock). Lots of planning has gone into this event and for some of you dear folks it will be your very last SRY Lock-In experience. All your friends are welcome just make sure they understand that it's all about staying at the church and it's all about coming to have a great time. No lazy survivors allowed! Come prepared to have a great time! The cost is only $10 per person which covers all activities and food you willl need to get you through.
A big "way to go" goes out to the Banana Productions crew for their Cafe on Friday night which raised over $800. for "Free The Children". (an organization that meets the needs of children in Africa). An awesome night for an awesome cause!
See you all on Wednesday night (it's our first meeting of 2007) and then see you all again on Friday. Also...random Lost Trivia is just the next post down.

Sarah Briand - January 30, 2007 1:21 pm

Sarah Briand - January 30, 2007 1:24 pm

Chris - January 30, 2007 9:11 pm
Poor John. He needs some extra love with Jeff gone for three months.
sarah briand - January 31, 2007 2:25 pm
but that doesnt make any difference. Why can't he come?
Chris - January 31, 2007 4:42 pm
He's like wicked old! If he came he would have to be a leader (he failed "leader training" by the way)
sullivan-curley - January 31, 2007 6:45 pm
yeah, my friends say they are pretty much only going if john is, and stuff.
Emily Smith - February 1, 2007 11:01 am
Chris, I want to go to the lock in, but I have soccer at 7:30 in the morning..so would I be able to go till 12 or something?
chris - February 1, 2007 1:29 pm
Hey there Emily. Come and stay with us as long as you can. The group is leaving the church at 11:30 for bowling so that would be a good time. Some really good stuff is happening early on so you'll be there for that.
Also about John. He is more than welcome to come. (as a leader)
John Greenan - February 1, 2007 1:37 pm
Thank you for the love from everyone. Who knows I may be there as a leader or I may not, depends on how my school work comes along ect. ALSO I passed leader training (as did Jeff) with FLYING COLOURS!! We read the book TWICE!
carver - February 1, 2007 2:00 pm
what was the book title john...and its not "leaders trainning 101"
Chris - February 1, 2007 2:12 pm
Watch out Carver. He actually has the book and I even think he read it!
