Hey there Solid Rockers, welcome to a brand spankin' new year! Hope you are enjoying the break, and getting lots of extra rest before "you know what" begins all over again.
I love the beginning of a new year. Lots of possibilities, lots of adventure, lots of opportunity to get into all sorts of crazy and amazing things. We hope that the Solid Rock Youth can be a source of some great things in your life this year. There's lots of things to learn, lots of love to be shared and lots of folks who want to be a source of support in your life. At the center of it all is the truth that God loves you and has awesome plans for each day of this new year!
In the next couple of months we'll be doing all our regular stuff like weekly meetings (starting on Jan. 17), Life 2gether Groups and the Friday night Solid Rock Cafes. We'll also be throwing in a Lock-In (Feb.2) and the ever popular Frenchy's Valentine Formal. (Feb.14). Stay tuned for lots more details.
See you all on Wednesday January 17 as we start a whole new year and new season of the Solid Rock Youth!

i cant wait till we get back it seems like forever since ive been to youth group! and its the day after my birthday!
we could have like a summer theme lots of flower neclaces sun glasses drinks wth little umbrellas in them i dunno just a thought if your stuck its always a safe back
chris can we play that game where we jump pover the pews in the church and try to get to the back before we get hit by balls that was fun

Hey everyone thanx for the suggestions! They will all be a part of our winter SRY schedule.
Between the Lock-In (a "Lost" rescue theme), the Frenchy's Valentine Formal and our "cruise" night in March we should make all those things happen.
It's awesome to have people ideas about stuff, and cool to see that the youth (quite young) and the leaders (young at heart) are on the same page. See you all on the 17th!
