Hey there! This week we're together again for a teaching night on "prayer" (what is it, how does it work...) This week is also your last week to get Lock-In tickets. We have 50 tickets for each group (Jr/Sr High) so bring your form, your money ($10) and get your ticket before they are all gone.

This week the Sr. High are off to Brookvale for Ski Night. We are leaving the church at 5:30 and returning by 10pm. Prices are:
$5.00 for the bus (everyone)
$4.20 for lift ticket (everyone)
$1.17 for helmet (everyone)
$6.98 for skis/boots/poles rental (if needed)
$12.71 for snowboard/boots rental (if needed)

Jr. High are at the church from 7-9pm for Drop-In Night (lots of fun) Friends are welcome!

Tickets for our Feb 27 Lock-In are now available. There will be 50 tickets for Sr. High and 50 for Jr. High. Bring in your money ($10) and permission form and we'll get you your ticket. 11 hours (8pm-7am) of fun!

Hey there young people!
This Wednesday (Feb 4) we're together again at the church for SRY and our topic this week is "prayer".

Tickets go on sale for our Lock-In (Feb 27). There is a limited number of tickets available to both groups so please get your forms and money into us as soon as possible.

For those going to Group Workcamp there is a meeting this Wednesday at 6pm. This is our first meeting together and we'll meet on the first Wed of each month until our trip on July 04.

There is not a SR Cafe this Friday (next Cafe will be on the 20th).

Sr. High need to bring in their forms and money for our Ski Night on Feb 11. Check facebook (Solid Rock Youth Charlottetown) for all the details.

Hey there Solid Rockers!
We're all split up this week as the Sr. High are at the MacKenzie's (59 Warburton Ave, off North River Rd) for our traditional exam break drop-in from 7-9pm. Bring along your skates for their rink or just come along and hang-out. There will also be permission/information forms available for our Ski Night on Feb 11.

The Jr. High are at the church for "Game Show Night" (come on down!) from 7-9pm.

Jr. High Drop-In this Friday night from 7-10. Games, trivia, canteen, more games and an all round good time. This week it's free at the door so just bring some money for the canteen.

Lock-In information/permission forms will be available this week. There will be a limited number of tickets for our all night event, youth must be attending SRY and the cost is $10/person. It will be another awesome night (Friday Feb 27) and we want you to be there.

This Wed (Jan 21) we're back in the youth room for our second SRY of 2009. Look for an "inspirational" Jr/Sr Challenge, some game craziness, some teaching, some announcements and some closing craziness. See you there and drag some friends along.

I would hereby like to officially apologize to all of the senior high. I predicted school would be cancelled today due to the cold. Unfortunately the forecast changed at the last minute and we missed the magic number (wind chill of -35) by just a few degrees.

I guess I should offer to do your homework or something.
