This Friday night the Jr. High are having their second Jr. High Drop-In. Come along and for just $2 you can enjoy Karaoke, Guitar Hero, trivia, running around or just hanging around. Bring along some extra cash to sample the goods from the well-stocked canteen. Time for the Drop-In is from 7-10pm at the church.

This Wednesday (March 12) we're having a Caveman Night! It's our way of celebrating the coming March break.(12 days off school right after the party!)
You'll be doing some building, some searching, some migrating, some grunting, some fire-making, some racing around, some surviving and above all some fun!
Get dressed up (or dressed back), frizz that hair, grow a beard (very cavemanish)and drag your friends along!

No School - No SRY

This is getting crazy!!!! No school so no SRY tonight. The Group Workcamp meeting is canceled as well.
Friday night is the cafe (6-midnight) and Sunday is a WoW worship service (6:30-8:00pm) with special musical guests Dan & Becky James and Pastor Bill is sharing his faith story...good stuff!!
Next Wednesday is our Caveman pre-march break party. Come dressed as your favourite caveman and get ready for an awesome time!

Solid Rockin' All Week

Hey there! The weather looks good for this week so we're hoping to have SRY on Wednesday night.
Dennis is in charge of the Jr.High (brace yourselves!) and Chris is in charge of the Sr. High (no worries there). We will also have a special guest and a special presentation which will be totally out of this world.
On Friday night the Solid Rock Cafe have some great stuff cooking with live music and live people.It's the place to be on Friday night.
Next Wednesday March 12 we're having another one of our pre-march break classic SRY party's and this year it's the Caveman Theme "Back To Bedrock". There's no school for the next 9 days so come along, dress up (actually dress "back") and bring along all your caveman friends.

It's another Rockin' week on Wednesday night as old school rockers Dennis & Chris are sharing the Word. Come out, take it in and be prepared for a good night.
Looking ahead, we are having our "pre-March-break" party on Wednesday March 12 with our "Back To Bedrock Caveman Theme Night". We're digging back into the old days for some pre-historic fun so start looking for some sharp caveman clothes(keep the clubs at home)

On Wednesday (Feb 20)we're back in the cafe for another teaching night with Michele and David leading the action. The topic "Deny Myself?" should get us to take a closer look at what it means to follow Jesus each day.
On Friday (Feb 22)night the SR Cafe opens its doors to the very best local musical talent, fine dining and good folks to mingle with.

Jr. High Drop-In Tonight!

Our first ever Jr. High only Drop-In begins tonight from 7-10pm. The cost is only $2/person. Tonight's menu of events includes video games, games in the hall, trivia with Dennis, music, and a very well stocked canteen (tonight's special feature is home made cookies and Connor's "ultimate surprise" bags.

Sorry gang but another storm has hit the Island. School is out early and whenever school is canceled SRY is too.
