That's right. This year we're heading off once again (you'd think we'd learn from the past :-) to conquer another mountain and a mighty river!

Looking for some details? We thought you would be.
- Thursday August 16th early in the morning. We drive to Maine, setup camp, enjoy the afternoon outside.
- Friday - We're suiting up and running the famous Penobscot River (Class V rapids!!! WOOHOOO!). After we run the river we're moving camp to be right beside the mountain. This is some of the best white water rafting in the East!
- Saturday we're up at the crack of dawn to hike Mount Katahdin in the rustically beautiful Baxter State Park.
- Sunday - We'll do a little hiking in the morning (just to a nice waterfall to swim in or something like that) then head home in the afternoon & evening.
Cost: ~ $260.00 or whatever it says on the forms (I seem to have misplaced mine).
Can I come?: Sure! As long as you're 15 years of age or older (and still in the public school system).
Want to see more pictures? A few of us have visited the area over the years. Check out our pictures!
It's one full week of Solid Rock stuff starting on Wednesday night with our last SRY Wednesday night of the season. We're saying hello, waving goodbye, talking about wisdom, timing, and why God never gets bored.
