It's our last full week of SRY before the summer break.
On Wednesday (May 20) we're having a BBQ at the Austins' from 7-9pm. Bring along $2 to help cover the cost.
On
Friday at 4:30 the bus leaves the church for Mudblast weekend. The bus
is full but if you still want to attend please let me know and we'll
squeeze you in if we can. It's gonna be a great weekend!
If
your not able to go to Mudblast then drop-in to the Solid Rock Cafe on
Friday night for some great live music. (6-midnight, only $2 at the
door)

Hey there Solid Rockers,
This Wednesday night the Jr. High have a work night at a local park (bring clothes you don't mind getting dirty) and the Sr. High have a teaching night. Both groups meet at the church at the regular time.
On Friday it's Jr. High Drop-In from 7-10pm. Only $2 for three hours of good, clean fun.
Don't forget to bring your Mudblast registration forms and $10 deposit. Registration deadline is next Wednesday so get your stuff together and join us for Mudblast 2009.

It's our last month before SRY summer break, and it's a busy one!
This Wednesday night (May 6) we have having special guest Shauna Simmons and her "Make You Think" tour. Shauna is a gifted speaker, former Miss Ontario and now produces the Make You Think series.
SRY will go from 7-9:30 this week. It will be a great time with some other youth groups joining us as well so bring your friends along.
Group Workcamp parent's meeting this Wednesday at 8:30.
Jr. High Drop-In has been moved from this Friday to May 15.
Get your Mudblast registration forms and deposits into us. Deposit is only $10 and an additional $65 for a total of $75...hey math is fun!

Thank-you for coming to last week's beach party. Great time everyone!
On Wednesday we meet again for a "teaching" night (7-9pm) and on Sunday night we have our WoW worship (6:30-8:15) service with a very special mystery guest.
Youth doing the Clothing Depot (Cathy's Life 2gether Group) are to be at the church by 4:30.
Make sure to bring in your $10 deposit for Mudblast. (May 22-24 at Camp Wildwood, Bouctouche NB). Total cost for the weekend is $75. It's always the best way to close out our Solid Rock year.

Wednesday (April 15) we having a Solid Rock Beach party. Bring the tropical shirts, shorts and sandals and join for some great fun. We're giving winter a good kick and bringing in some warm weather.
On Friday night the SR Cafe opens it's doors to some great local musical talent. Only $2 for an a great evening.

On Friday night the Solid Rock Cafe hosts an all ages Cafe with special guests Two Hours Traffic, New Royalty, Andrew Murray and Pat Lepoidevin. $5 per person from 7-midnight.

Hey there!
This Wednesday (March 11) it's Frenchy's Formal Night! It's time to find the ugliest outfit (check your parent's closet) and come to the only Solid Rock Youth "dance" of the season (actually we only do it once every two years...it's that good!)
It's all about the dresses, the suits, and some crazy fun so invite your friends!
This Friday the SR Cafe opens it's doors (6-midnight) for some really awesome music so gather your friends together and enjoy some amazing local talent. (only $2 at the door)
Next week is March Break...so no SRY...have a great week!

Hey there everyone. Hope you are enjoying your extra long weekend! (an extra day to recover from Lock-In)
Lock-In was a real gas this year and we thank all of you for coming and making it such a blast!
This Wednesday is a teaching night with Andrew, some crazy games and worship. (a great night!)
There will also be a Group Workcamp meeting at 6pm for all those going to New Jersey this summer.
Next week (Wednesday March 11)is one of our great pre-March Break traditions...the Frenchy's Formal. Get those great outfits and get ready for a night of music and "best air band competition". It's the right way to get ready for March Break!

Hey there Rockers.
There is no SRY tonight (Feb 25) as the leaders are gearing up for our Hogfarts Lock-In. If you haven't got your Lock-In ticket there is still time. You must get your Lock-In form signed with the $10 and drop it off at the church (9am-2pm) or at Pastor Chris' home (12 Wendy Drive).
There are no tickets being sold at the door!
Friday's Lock-In begins at 8pm and ends at 7am on Saturday. See ya then!
